A train to Vignola

Da Bologna a Vignola, un itinerario comodo e green

The Bologna – Vignola railway represents a convenient and easy access route to our territory. Thanks to the vastness of national and international connections of the Bologna railway hub and thanks to the frequency of trips, this railway line really connects Vignola to the world.

The history of the Bologna – Vignola railway begins with the construction of the first Bologna – Vignola Tramway in 1883. This itinerary was replaced in 1938 by the new Casalecchio – Vignola railway line which, after a prolonged decline, was rearranged and reopened in 2003 with the terminus directly in Bologna Centrale. Today it is a modern and green means of transport, which allows you to discover Vignola and make interesting stops along the way without necessarily having to travel by car.
